Now we are coming to another Christmas! In two days! You can feel the excitement building for Christmas Eve, then the Day itself! This year, let's discover some Truth about Christmas (aka. Xmas that spelling LOL). So from now on, we will have this knowledge to go forward into the promised Kingdom (or will we? are we on board or not? - find out next article).
Christmas is a major holiday and is the day in the yearly calendar when people expect to have a good time and exchange some gifts and other jolly traditions. These traditions and past-times are enacted by many Christmas revelers, especially those adherents of Christianity, as this holiday is intended to be celebrated as the birthday of their founder and namesake, their Saviour - Christ himself. Christians are the ones who are looking forward all year to this favorite of holidays. What time of the year is like Christmas? There's nothing else like it!
This holiday is also favored by some not-so Christian people, some who are not-devoutly practicing Christians, and those who are not even believers. Why is that? Christmas is enjoyed by whoever wants to have a good time at this portion of the year. Christmas has become a secular experience, a secular practice, it has become secularized in many ways....
But if Christmas is the Holiday commemorating the birthday of Jesus Christ, does it mean that the founders of this organized religion and its holidays did know exactly when the birthday-was? Is December 25 the actual birthdate of Jesus Christ? (whose real name is Yashua, when he was alive on Earth, in that lifetime - which is an entire other topic, for a related but a different webpage).

The main point about all of this is that when this Holiday of Christmas was started, it was most probably made in order to take-over the Winter Solstice celebrations of the pagans. This convenient and strategic placement of the new holiday over the old holiday was to better convert those who were wanted in the Christian/Catholic fold. That makes a lot of logical sense. It isn't the whole issue but I think it is the main one.
So are we perpetuating this long-standing Lie and Totally inaccurate date of the Messiah's birthday?? How can it be reconciled with Scripture and the sacredness of the holy days within the year?? Is this why everybody has become so secularized, as if they don't really care and are not very much concerned. It is WRITTEN that the Lord G O D has appointed very specific and exact, unchangeable days to be the times of Worship and Praise. But having said that, was the birthdate of the prophesied Savior supposed to be a Holy Day? Which pre-existing Holy Day was supposed to be aligned or simultaneous with his Birth??
